Many extensions are built in this country without documenting the works being undertaken and the condition of adjoining property. The party wall Act 1996 provides a procedure to ensure all building owners are protected against claims for cracks or structural problems which has been caused by works undertaken by a building owner

This practise can provide party wall advice to property owners, and are able to act on behalf of the property owner or adjoining owner.

All notices and procedures include the preparation and serving of all notices under the Act and the production of schedules of condition in accordance with the party wall Act.
